What's Happening....

It's currently 10: 45 pm and I felt the need to write a blog. So, I asked Celeste to give me a question to write about AND here it is:

If all the raindrops were lemon drops and gum drops.....?

First thing is first, I LOVE lemon drops. What about gum drops? Nope, not a fan BUT I must address both of them so here goes nothing.

Let's start with gum drops....
IF I walked outside and it was raining gum drops, I would probably flip a switch! I would also do the following:

Collect as many as I wanted to and give them to little kids
Save some for Christmas, so when we do the 'Annual Cousin Christmas Cookie Decorating' thing I would win
Stick them on the cars of people I don't like
Sell them to candy stores
Find Barney and give him some

Now onto lemon drops...

Give some to my Nana, who loves them(this is probably where I learned to eat lemon drops)
Make lemonade, yes that's possible!
Eat them
Get a softball bat and practice my swing
Grab a helmet, because I might suffer some head trauma
Barney needs some of these too

Ok, now lets think about this! If all the raindrops were really lemon drops and gum drops, what would that do to our planet? No water for us to drink, no water for our animals, NO WATER period...we would simply not exist!! This brings me to an interesting point, GLOBAL WARMING! Ladies and gentlemen, it's happening! IF you don't believe me then explain to me this, WHY are we experiencing these crazy snow storms or WHY are we experiencing record high Summer temperatures or WHY are we experiencing much stronger hurricanes(which by the way, since 1970 category 4 and 5 hurricanes have doubled!!)????

Today I was on Facebook, imagine that, and I came across a 'Page' a friend joined and it was called "Miss me yet?-George W. Bush." Well, of course I had to see what this page was all about. I came across this ignorant comment:

"With all three airports in Washington, D.C. closed because they're under FEET of snow, I wonder if Al Gore can still use his private plane to jet-set across the world and denounce the evils of Big Oil and Republicans who are causing all this global increase in temperatures...."

THAT just shows how stupid some people are!!!! Global warming is not just about temperatures becoming hotter it's about a CHANGE IN CLIMATE as well!!! I would really like to meet that moron who said that!

I find it very interesting that Celeste asked me this question. Today in one of my classes we were talking about Global Warming, what a coincidence!

It has been two months since my last post, oops! I am going to TRY to post weekly, but no promises! My sister & cousin have been getting onto Claud & I about not blogging, but to tell you the truth I really have not had anything too interesting to blog about! lol.
Christmas Break has come and gone, and now I'm back at school for another semester! woohoo...
I had a fun dentist appointment yesterday and now I am pain free and can feel my mouth!!
Also today our little baby cousin should be arriving! A new Longhorn in the family, yay!

I read my sister's(Ces) blog...the other sister hasn't updated her blog since AUGUST, loser!! Anyways, I noticed she made a comment about maybe I would post pictures of my new hair-do. I thought about it and said, "hey what the heck, it's not like Prince Charming will be reading my blog anytime soon." If you have read my post from the other day I talked about how I have an inside joke going on between me, Clarisa and Celeste. At random moments I will say "gosh Dwight is SO hot, I would marry him in a heartbeat." LOL I just want everyone to know, I do NOT have any attraction to the man at all!! I just think he is FUNNY! Some of the things he says are things I say and he can be a snob which happens to be one of my nicknames! So we have some things in common. (FYI: Dwight is from The Office..DUH to the DUHHHH)
Now I have NO clue how this came about, but it did. Earlier tonight, I decided to attempt to make my hair look like Dwight's...well it was hard but I got my fly-aways to semi look like Dwight's! I know it's hard to see in the pics, but I got pretty darn close on the right side(your right NOT my right). This activity even got back to my Uncle in Ohio...thanks sister!

I do stupid things and I have NO clue how these ideas pop into my mind, but they do!! I guess it's fair to say there's never a dull moment when I am around. This isn't any worse than me jumping into a 50 degree pool, jumping into a pool with grey basketball shorts where you could see my orange "panties"(as Clarisa would say, such an old person's word) while elderly people are around, or acting like a gymnast only to bust my booty!! It's who I am and I will never change...so don't ask me to! That's all I have, hope you enjoyed...until next time.

My Weekend

Weekends go by too fast!! I hate that. Anyways let me recap for you what my weekend consisted of. Friday night Celeste & I went to eat at Chili's AND then I had to endure a trip to Target. Although, I rewarded myself with Season 1 of The Office!! Yep, that meant I curled up in my bed when I got to the apartment & watched it until the early hours of Saturday. Now to Saturday...got up and ate some tacos. Then went to the mall with the hermana. While she was looking for an item of clothing, I ran away to Gap!! I LOVE that place(but not as much as I love Dwighty...lol JK that's an inside joke between Ces, me & Clarisa)! I shop there for everything. They have recently redone their pants & they're AMAZING(in the Oprah voice,jk). After that trip I did some homework, watched the Horns kick butt again, watched Michigan lose...again, and then watched some of the Arizona game! I was bummed Arizona lost, that would of made a PERFECT weekend in College Football!

Sunday strolled along...I rolled out of bed, got ready & met the parentals in South Austin for a day of shopping and a late lunch. I've been needing a new pair of spectacles so we decided to take care of that today. Let me tell you something, be careful who you feel sorry for. I saw this sales rep in EyeMasters & was like "awwh I am going to let him sell me my pair of glasses." He was SO slow!! Never will I do that again! I got regular glasses & a pair of sunglasses...woohoo. I just have to go back sometime this week and pick up the sunglasses! Then I made another trip to the Gap and got some awesome articles of clothing! When that was done I drove us to Applebee's, where we watched the Cowboys win in overtime!!! YAY, they finally won...even though Romo Homo sucks!

The Office

Yay tomorrow is Friday!!! When I get done with classes, I am coming back to the apartment climbing into my little bed & going to sleep!!! Probably doesn't sound very exciting to some of you...but it will be!
Now to business...The Office came on tonight and it was funny!!! I laughed the WHOLE time. It takes a lot to make me sit still & I do just that during the whole show...that's probably why I have come to love it so much. Last season I started watching it but not like this season! I am totally addicted to it! I have the Momster(Rita Summy) watching it and I guess the MI cousins are now watching it too!!! Hehe, my actions are contagious! SO contagious, Clarisa(aka MC) sent me a text quoting The Office. Ahhh...that made my night!
So now that everyone knows how much I love The Office it is now time for me to lay my head on my pillow and close my eyes.

A Few Random Things About Tay...

Wow, another post...I am doing great! OR it's because I am waiting on my class to start, which means I am bored so I cure that by posting a blog. Last night I was trying to go to sleep and it wasn't happening because as soon as I would start to close my eyes...BAM the door opened and out of nowhere this little person would walk into my room. (I will allow this person to remain anonymous) Then this person would always have something to say or point out about how weird I am when it comes to sleeping. So that's the point of this blog, I am going to inform you people of a few things.

I HATE sleeping with sheets on my bed!
I currently have to sleep diagonally...
I HATE anything flannel being on my bed
Little people who walk into my room in the night time scare me
I like to have a blanket/towel/pillow over my head
The flip-side of my pillow is NOT cooler than ME

So now you guys know a little more about Tay, how exciting....the first person to tell me who that "lil person" is gets a quarter from me next time you see me. THE PERSON BETTER NOT GIVE IT AWAY!!

A Funny Moment in My Life

SO...I want to share a story with the Blog World. I would say about a month ago when I moved back to Austin for school, my sister(Celeste) had an idea. "Hey Tay will you come workout with me down at the gym?" being the nice little sister I am, I agreed. The agreement said that I would stay until I got bored and/or just watch her workout. Well, we walked into the gym and this dude came up to us and asked if we would like to join his class for the night. I was trying to get out of it but Celeste so kindly answered yes for the both of us!! To make a long story short...we worked out for an hour, was super sore, I got annoyed by the trainer guy AND made an important observation...IF the girls who were in his class for a MONTH had been doing his class that long, then they shouldn't of been taking a lot of breaks like they were!! We did that in August, well we are now in October and Celeste got an email from some people saying that this "trainer" dude was not certified by the organization he was claiming he was, not to pay him any money, and if you didn't see any results that's why! HA I was right, I knew this guy was full of bologna the minute I saw him!!

The moral of this story is this: 1.) be careful what you agree to do, sometimes it's good to be a snob like Tay when it comes to crazy trainers! 2.) Never listen to a dude that looks like he is on the "juice" 3.) Always look for the Emergency Exit(s) in a building AND 4.) always say your prayers at night.

Goodbye September...

As this Wednesday(AND September) comes to an end, I needed a way to relax before bed...so what's a better way to relax then to post a blog?? WELL, I could think of some thing else but my Wii is in JC! Bummer!

Now let's get down to business...I got a text from my Michigan cousin, Clarisa, informing me that I must watch 'Man vs. Food' tonight. After questioning why I should watch it, I remembered "hey, Mr. A was at a baseball game that show was at"...SO I listened to my elderly cousin and put my TV on that channel. I have to admit I didn't think I would see them, but then to my dismay BAM they appeared like lightning! I got to see their little faces that I haven't seen in almost two years!! They looked like they had a lot of fun watching that guy shove food down his throat...yuck! SO cousins I am glad you had fun watching that...AND thanks for informing me about that because I now have some blackmail if I ever need it!!! I am more than positive that will be on YouTube...

The last aspect of business I want to talk about is how I am going to have a new cousin! Yep, it's going to be a girl...I think I can handle that! I just suck at picking out clothing for baby girls, SO I will just stick to buying her burnt orange t-shirts or toys! You can never go wrong with that! One thing I know is that this baby is going to be a LONGHORN BABY!!!!

So, since I am sitting doing nothing until my next class starts...I thought it would be good to post a blog. Starting tomorrow I start working with the UT Tennis team...I have never been too into tennis. Except in high school when my Chemistry II AP class would meet up after school to play. Whoever lost would have to buy the whole class tacos the next day! So, the next two weeks should be a fun learning experience!

So, last week ESPN College GameDay came to campus...it caused a lot of madness! First off the crew had to setup right where I have to walk to go to my classes. SO that meant I would have to walk all the way around the fountain and back up the stairs on the other side to get to class!! Also Lil' Johnny insisted that I get these pictures, so I thought I would share them!

What's going on...

I finally decided it was time for me to buy some tickets to go to a UT Football game this season! Last year my cousin Andrew gave me SO much crap when he found out I hadn't purchased the Student-Ticket Package...SO in order to make him stop, I told him we would go to a UT Football game together. Well, that's exactly what's going to happen...November 7, 2009 UT plays Central Florida. This should be an interesting day, since Crystal(who is also going) gets along with Andrew just wonderful...lol! The people sitting around us should be prepared!

Today starts a new adventure in my life...I start Directed Observation with UT Athletics. The D.O. Program is a requirement to get accepted into the ATEP Program for Athletic Trainers at UT. The first team I get to observe is the Volleyball team, for at least five hours per week for the next two weeks...woohoo! Practice starts at 2 and Tay is there until 4....I will let you Blog people know how it goes!

09-09-09 aka MY Day of Birth!!!!

To start off I would like to welcome myself back to the 'Blog World'...I have totally abandoned this for the past few months...but never fear I am back & better than ever!!

So, today is MY birthday...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!! I am finally 20 years old which means I am NO longer a teenager!! WooHoo...it also means it's time for me to grow up. I've been told it's time by many of my close companions, so I guess I should take their advice and show them I can do it!!

My birthday consisted of waking up at 8:31 AM, stopping at Starbucks on the way to class, Kinesiology class(where I learned how to find trigger points!), laying on my bed while talking to a dear friend, reading my Sociology book, listening to my sisters have a LONG discussion, Olive Garden and then a trip to Wal mart! WoW want an interesting 20th birthday!! SO the sister gave me an idea...and here it is. She said, "since it's 9-9-09 why don't you actually post a blog and tell us nine things you have learn throughout your lifetime."

9 Things I've Learned in My 20 Years of Life:

I am cooler than the flip side of my OWN pillow...that's right!
Life is a game, all you have to do is pick your next move.
There are some people that are put into your life for a reason...do NOT try to get rid of them, instead hold them close to your heart!
Always keep your head to the sun!

Horns won.....AGAIN!

Yep they did it again...they won!! Just felt like letting every one know!!

Not much going on in my life...just work and school. Although, I recently made a big purchase, for Tay, I FINALLY gave in after a whole year and bought myself a Wii!!! I play it SO much...AND let's just say I get very into it!! I've almost let go of the remote twice, lost my temper about 500 times, and got my butt kicked about 20 times by the same person...it builds character, so I'm okay with that!!

Tomorrow is my Dad's 50th Birthday!!....So happy birthday Curtis Taylor Summy!!

My Rant...AND Hook 'Em Horns!!

SO here's the deal...I have something to rant about tonight and I'm sorry I am having to do it on here...but it happens! I think in today's world people are too "busy" to say a few simple words when they are due! Actually, there is NO one who is SO important that they can't take a few minutes out of their so-called "busy day" to perform a simple task! I think I am too nice & bend over backwards for other people...when I'm not sure if they would do the same for me! Alright, that's done & over with!!!

NOW to the more exciting news...the UT Baseball team is going to Omaha!! The first time in a few years! So don't forget to watch them this Sunday and cheer them on!! Peace.

SUMMER!!!

SO, it's almost been a month since I last wrote a blog! Sorry I've totally abandoned this page, but it's Summer time and I could care less about this blog thing!

Since my last blog:

I am now a Sophomore at UT!!! Yay, I survived!
I've been to Sea World twice...and both times it has rained HARD! Perfect record, 2/2!
Watched my WCKs graduate!
Survived a week without my car...stupid hail!
Started work & Summer School...ugh!
The list could go on but I'm tired...

Summer is here and it's nice!! Getting to stay up late because I want to and not have to is awesome! I've been able to hang out with my WCKs and do stupid things! Which, I must say that after four years we FINALLY buried our box! About time! I LOVE Summer, I don't want it to end!

Short people and their actions...

I've totally deserted my blog the past few weeks...sorry! The past two weeks have been busy and I haven't had the patience to sit down and write anything. But...tonight was the exception...I was sitting at the table watching Celeste struggle to get some cupcake liners out of the pantry and I had a calling...BLOG about it! SO here are the three things she's done that's totally mind-boggling to me!

Throwing the loaf of bread on top of the refrigerator...instead of asking for help!
Shortie standing by the pantry door & me realizing she's barely taller than it!
Taking ~45 seconds to get the cupcake liners out, which would of taken me 2 seconds...but I was too lazy to help her!

You may ask why I wasted precious sleep time over this...WELL tonight she was picking on me...SO I thought I would share this with a few people!

Summer time....oh sweet Summer time! It's so near, I can hear her calling my name in this dry Texas wind...I get to watch some little kids & drive on that pretty country road at 7:45 am EVERY morning....oh I can't wait! This summer I thought I would be going to Michigan to see some of my so-called cousins....where I would be able to sing the lyrics "it was summer time in Northern Michigan" and actually be in Northern Michigan, BUT when you grow up and have "responsibilities"...."feces" happen!! Or in Sugarland's words: "pssh it happens!" SO here's to Summer in Texas...wouldn't want to be any where else!

The Day After Earth Day...

So, as you all know yesterday was Earth Day. Yes, the day where every one gets all into the Earth....IF only people would do that all the time...then EVERY day could be Earth Day! FUN!

SO...I went to HEB yesterday, bought what I needed AND the lady put my stuff in plastic bags...two to be exact...THEN three hours later I found out that IF you brought four or five plastic bags into HEB they would give you a free green bag. NOW the point of this is: I totally failed at Earth Day!!! IF I would of known that, I would of made the lady give me three more bags..and then I would of gotten the cool free one AND helped saved the Planet!!! Geez, they totally messed up my Earth Day!! You would think that since my sister works at HEB....she would give me a head's up...but nope!

I'm going to end this post with a quote from my drama queen of a cousin, Kelsey, who is the Queen of "Saving the World": "That's why I'm moving to Australia, because nobody cares about the world in America....Years ago I could of walked outside and picked up a snake, now you can hardly find them..UGH (rolling her eyes) I can't wait to move to Australia!!!"

Tay "The Gymnast"

SO for some reason this evening, I had the urge to practice some "gymnastic" moves I learned WAY back in the day...when I was actually in gymnastics, as you will see I should of stayed in that class, I might of learned something!!...so when I got that urge I said, "hey why not?....I've already cut my leg so breaking an arm couldn't be any worse..." Now I'm just lucky I'm a pro at taking falls like this one!! ENJOY!

Hulk Out + Eggs + Music = Easter

This weekend was Easter....you know the time when that Bunny comes and leaves eggs in the front yard and kids have to run around picking them up in the HOT Texas sun while their chocolate candies melt...Yep, that's what we call Easter!
So Friday I went into JC and that was a blur because I slept most of the day away!! SO to Saturday....woke up had lunch with the Momster and then this is what I did...

Took a picture of the Peace sign at that store in JC.....

Found this tat in my car from the Air Heads' bag, so I thought I would put it on my arm, because I didn't want it go to waste....

Took a picture with my "Glitterless" member....Kelso Heavner....

Then we practiced a few songs for our upcoming tour....check out our website...we will be coming to a city near YOU!

Decorated some Easter Eggs at Heather's....got pretty darn creative!

Made an egg to represent my tat....did a good job on that too!

Then Easter Sunday rolled along...well go look at my sister's blog to see more pictures of the day.

Sunshine...

So in my 19 years of life I have NEVER jumped into a pool that was SO cold that I had to get out as SOON as I jumped in! Yeah I've jumped into pools that seem to be cold to me at the time, BUT none like this one! Yesterday Celeste & I decided to go outside and get a tan and MAYBE swim...but as I was sitting there tanning, I was SO tempted by that water in the pool that I knew I had to give it a try! So after sitting there for about 30 minutes I did it!!!.....watch! As you will see as soon as I put my feet in I had 2nd thoughts because it was freezing cold! And once I jumped in and came back to the surface, I was yelling at Celeste to turn off the camera because I was ready to scream!!!

All I can say is thank goodness for hot tubs, because that is where I ended up right after this! Hope you people got a good laugh at my stupidity! Peace

I was right....once AGAIN!!!

So ever since my Uncle got me a shirt from Michigan State I have always liked them better than Michigan...AND now MSU is in the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship!! SOOO this blog is dedicated to all those cousins of mine and my brother-in-law who said MSU wasn't going to make it to the championship game...well I have news for y'all they DID!!! So to make it even better the game is in Detroit!! So look what photo I got yesterday!!

So after seeing this movie in the theatre, I knew that the moment it came out I was going to have to get it!! My favorite line out of the whole movie is, "and then it started raining gumballs!" Enjoy!!

Now, this weekend where to begin...First I don't think I have ever shopped as much as I did this weekend. My Mom and Celeste together will result in a WHOLE day of shopping...and when I say whole, I mean whole!! We shopped from morning until evening!...I discovered that the store "Charming Charlie" is NOT my store! Color coding everything...are you serious?!?! Heather, here's something for you to do...ask my mom about her pen that she got from Vegas...LOL! You may of already seen it though....This weekend I learned that sometimes things that come out of my mouth can result in people laughing SO hard...they can't function! OR sometimes I give looks/say things that are considered to be a little bit on the snob side...especially to those "Charming Charlie" people!

Kelsey and I before Senior Serve....that little brat got to come at the last minute. I thought I was going to get away from her for a few hours...I thought wrong! (that's a first!!)

As you know I went to senior serve this past weekend and I must say the best skit that was done was called, "Can I Have Your Number?" That skit made me laugh so hard....and I'm not just being biased because it was done by my WCK members, but because it was simply the best! So here watch it and be amazed...the WCK kids did an awesome job at recreating it!

It's finally Thursday and I couldn't be anymore excited!!

What the.....HAIL?!?

Yes...I meant to spell it like that! Hail, meaning balls of ice, sucks!!!

Wednesday night Austin had a hail storm and my car was a victim! Haven't had the car for a year and it has hail damage...That's my luck right now! Luckily, no windows were broken BUT if the hail would of left black dots when it hit my car....I would be sporting a cool lady bug car!!! So, now I get the pleasure of talking to the insurance people and getting it fixed! I feel sorry for the dude that has to fix it because there are lots of dents...So have fun Mr. Hail Dude!!

Well, today is finally Friday and I'm excited! This weekend I get to go and watch Senior Serve in JC...yay! Should be lots of fun...the two remaining WCK members are performing. I can't believe they are graduating! I've known Jessica & Jocelyn since...well as long as I can remember and now they're grown up! Seems just like yesterday, we were all jumping into Teresa's car to enjoy a trip to Gatti Town or jumping OUT of a car to save homework that had flown out the window or dancing on the pile of dirt EVERY day before softball practice while drinking a large Icee....oh the memories I have with them, are priceless! So I look forward to seeing what they have in store!

Oh the Joys of Spring Break...

Well, I haven't written a blog in a while so I thought now would be the time to do so!

Sadly, Spring Break is over with...back to school for a while. Spring Break was pretty interesting, I guess you can say! I saw all the people I cared to see and got to hangout with my WCK members so that was good! Got to run in the pretty Hill Country and sweat like crazy...oh the joys of the Texas heat!....Although, I didn't get tan at all!! I guess it's going to take a lot more running trips to get tan!...geez!

Also during break, I saw baby goats be born for the first time ever. Now that is totally disgusting!!! Thanks Jessica!!....but I named one "Fredericka" so that made me happy! I also got called "snob" about a thousand times...I'm working on that! Jessica and I also took care of lil' Monkey for a few hours one day and let's just say, we were up to no good...BUT at least I know that you don't give baby food to babies at the age of 3 months!!!...I wonder who said that!?!...that adventure also resulted in me smelling like baby throw up...yucky...but it was all worth it because Monkey is a pretty cool little kid!! So thanks Crystal for letting us watch him...next time we won't bring out those toys we let him play with!

Original Fruit....

Well, it's Thursday...which means it's almost the weekend!!! AND in this case, it's also means ONE more day until Spring Break!!!! I'm super excited!! The weather is super gross outside....rain and cold is the worst combination ever!! Hopefully, the sun comes out for next week because I could really use a tan!!! Italians like me, have a hard time staying tan!! It's work!! Like Selena's father said: "it's hard work being Mexican-American" I totally agree!!

Let's talk about "Free Stuff" these days!! Yesterday, I was walking through my dorm and the University Health Services were passing out these "Spring Break Kits." So I was like "hey something free!" So the people handed me one...When I got back up to my dorm room, I opened the water bottle and started examining the contents...let's just say the ONLY useful things in there are a cereal bar and a tube of Banana Boat sunscreen!!! The rest of the stuff is totally inappropriate for this blog!!! SOOO the point of that is this, be careful as to what you get...even if it's free!!!

OK, this is to Celeste: About two months ago you and I were in Hobby Lobby AND we got this material to make Landon a blanket!!!! Two months later NOTHING has happened!!!......Landon is NOW going to be three months old....SO I'm going to take that lunge and get that material and make Lil' Monkey his blanket!!!! (well I probably won't make it but someone will!)

Alright, well I'm done for this blog....but remember one thing: when you "feel like a fish with no water"....jump into a pool.....DUH!! Later loves and hugs!!

SO, this weekend was a very important weekend in the lives of "The Originals" (Celeste, Claudia, Kris, Darnell, Heather, ME and Kelsey)......growing up, we were always together and I guess that is why we are all so close! As we all know Kris got married...SO here is the day summed up in some pictures.....

My mom sent some brownies with me to bring to Celeste's house....SO I got pretty creative (for Tay) and....well the rest is history.......

Well, the weekend is over now...BUT this weekend proved one thing to me, we are ALL growing up! It seems like not too long ago we were all jumping out of a blue van going Trick-or-Treating OR going on one of our many trips to Austin! I think as I have "grown up" I have realized exactly how close we all are. We've gone through a lot together and I don't think we could of handled some of the things we did if we weren't by each other's side through it all! There's a bond between all of us that no one will ever be able to take away and it's a bond that not too many cousins have. (So in other words....don't mess with "The Originals"...that's a nice way to put it!) I'm so lucky to have these people in my life(yes, even you Heather) because I know that no matter what they will be there for me when I need them the most...

Alright, this is not my style of blogging and I'm sure I just made someone cry and the likely candidate is probably HEATHER!! So, wipe up your tears and get back to work!! Love you guys!

Well, well it's that time again to take some time and post a new blog! yay, so much fun....HA!

Not a whole lot has been going on in my life, as usual! I am getting excited about Spring Break! Thinking about going to watch a UT softball game or watching a play....sounds like great options!! OR maybe it will be warm so I can go to Sea World....now that sounds even better!!!

So, I was reading MSN this morning and I came across something that caught my attention. I'm SO excited that the Osbourne family is going to do another TV series!! I love them!! The show will be on FOX and starts March 31st......SO if you enjoyed their MTV show, then you have to watch this one as well!!!

Here's a totally random piece of information: I recently discovered the 90s channel on my Sirius radio and it's the best thing ever....I don't have to plug my iPod in just to listen to those songs anymore!!

Well, this weekend is an action-packed weekend....so maybe I will actually use my camera for once and take some pictures so I can post some on here...AND then I won't have to write ALL the time!! That sounds great.....to me!! Better look forward to some interesting pictures!!

Oh The Memories!

Well since I'm SO "popular" with these blogs I figured I would write one!! Yeah, I know I haven't been faithful to this whole blog thing...but hey it takes a lot of work!!!

Not a whole lot has been going on in my exciting life! lol, all I have been doing is studying for tests and quizzes and that's about it!

SO, it's Lent! Yes, that time of year again where you can't eat any meat on Fridays....it NEVER fails that's the ONLY time of the week that I feel like eating a cheeseburger...but I resist!! This brings up another point.....giving something up! Yes, I've had many recommendations.
The list includes:

Stop "Being" a brat
No iPod
No Technology
No Soda

Or the list also includes committing to something! I think I'm leaning more towards the commitment....Because let's think about this for a while....Being a brat is part of who I am, so I can't stop doing that no matter how hard I try, my nickname(1 of many) isn't "TayBrat" for NO reason! IF I didn't have my iPod I would have to sing myself and NO one wants to hear that! Technology, I'm a college student....that's totally impossible....soda I drank one yesterday and that's when Lent started so that's out of the picture.

NOW my sister gave me an excellent idea....commit to exercising....at least 3 times a week for 30-40 minutes. SO, I guess that's what I will do! Be aware for the next 40 days or so, I will be an exercising, iPod listening brat!! Get ready!!

My sister Claudia is turning 25 this Sunday!!

So, I'm going to share some fond memories of her and life lessons she taught me:

Reversing back and forth in the driveway.
Every Saturday morning, she would YELL my name out LOUD so I could get her something to eat! AND IF I didn't she would chew on my thumbs...YUCK!
Hearing her say "watch this" as she would say something to get my Mom fired-up!!
She taught me to ALWAYS keep the change from the money my mom gave us, because "she will never know!"
Watching her and her friends do Tae Bo...and feeding Cheetos to one of them!!
Going into her room and getting on the computer EARLY in the morning only to hear her yell at me to, "GET OUT!!!!"
Trips to Wal mart with her, Teresa and Lil' Johnny.....ALWAYS have cash or extra checks with you!
Her teaching me how to tie my shoes......because of that I tie them like a little kid!!!
Sunday mornings....."I can't go to Church, it takes too long to fix my hair." HA!

Hmmm...a new blog? Just thought I would inform anyone who reads this thing what I have been up to....STUDYING!!! That's about it, what an exciting life!

1st: How about we address something that was said in the "Castro's Blog"......house shopping and a fireplace! Well, I agree that's a must....BUT I also agree that the house needs to be made for Tall People. For example, the counter tops should be higher than the ones in the apartment. Simply because the couple of times I have washed the dishes there, my back starts to hurt! SO I suggest that some one should try to grow a little more! NEXT, decorating I can't wait! Because I'm going to decorate with Lil Fish(like Nemo) in one of the bathrooms AND get some of those magic markers!! It's going to be SO much fun! lol....can't wait!

Now, tonight I got this text message from a cousin of mine who thought it would be "funny" to make me dissect a word. The famous word was: Oophorosalpingogram. So, since I'm currently taking a Medical Terminology Class I took the word piece by piece. (ONLY because I thought this cousin REALLY wanted to know what it meant) THIS is what I did:
Oophoro: ovary
salpingo: uterine(fallopian) tube
gram: record
So, that is how I broke up this word. I was VERY thrilled that I actually had a semi-definition for the word......I also sent about three definitions of other words that pertained to this topic. SO, after going through all that hard work I received a message and it said just this: "I already know this! I'm putting your brain to work." WHAT kind of cousin does that to you?!?!? Is it a cousin who loves you OR just wants to get you stirred up?

The purpose of tonight's blog is this: take EVERYTHING one step or piece at a time! Once you get over one speed bump tackle the other. AND remember this, any situation that is given to you in Life has a purpose, even if it's to annoy you, it's done out of LOVE!

Random, random thoughts....

I thought I would write this blog before I went to bed so I could clear my head and go to bed with fresh thoughts.....

So, tonight this blog is from Jester....I write this as I lay on the nice-comfy bed in my dorm. That's a total joke....the beds aren't considered beds. They are more like a thick pillow that is semi long enough for me, but it's a place to sleep so I won't complain too much! This room has come a long way since August of 2008....I remember the first 2 months of being here, the sink faucet would constantly drip!!!! It was SO annoying! It was pretty bad when my ten-second friend Crystal noticed it! She tried to be a good person and turn it off but to her surprise I simply told her, "oh no it's just broken." lol oh the joys of living in Jester!

Now down to business....1st Item-CELESTE: I hope you are enjoying that "great B&B" in Gonzales, Tejas....lucky duck, you get a fire to relax you!!! Hope you enjoy it! Also your key is in VERY safe hands....MINE! I also know you wish I was there too! I hope you saw your dress and see you Friday!

2nd Item-To my Michigan cousin, you know who you are, I think you should send me your Wii.....I could probably use it more than you! Just a thought, take some time to consider it AND get back to me.....

Well here's a little something that I learned today.....twins take FOREVER to be born! I also learned that there is a link between secondhand smoke and dementia.

I would like to say that after many attempts, which were highly unsuccessful, I have finally been talked into establishing a blog. So yes, I guess I lost this battle...but hey you can't win them all!

First, what is a Blog? To tell you the truth, I have NO clue! Although, I do know this...MY blog is going to provide the reader with some laughter and possibly some life lessons! (YES from a 19 year old!!)

With that said, I'm going to end this blog and let you ponder about what my next post will be about. You never know, it could be something very intellectual or something totally random! Just be prepared!
